Another lovely donation to Friends of Gedling Station (FoGS). A framed photo of a locomotive from Leicester (Belgrave Square)to Skegness. The local Connection with Gedling Village is that the the driver was Ron Wainwright who lived on Jessops Lane. His fireman was G.Webb. The locomotive is approaching Thurnby Tunnel. It was on the 1st August 1956 (Bank Holiday) Thank you David Cooper
